Welcome to Time Pe, a mobile application and platform that helps patients manage their waiting time at clinics and empowers doctors to streamline scheduling. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, protect, and share your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

a. From Patients

  • Phone number (for OTP-based login)

  • Name (optional, for identification at the clinic)

  • Appointment details (clinic name, doctor, scheduled time, etc.)

  • Device information (model, OS, IP address)

  • Location (optional, to help estimate travel time)

b. From Doctors / Clinics

  • Phone number

  • Clinic or hospital details

  • Doctor’s name and specialty

  • Schedule preferences

  • Patient appointment history

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide you with real-time queue updates and notifications

  • Allow clinics to manage appointments and delays

  • Estimate and communicate waiting times

  • Improve our services and user experience

  • Contact you with important app updates or policy changes

  • Send optional feedback or satisfaction surveys

We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Sharing of Data

We only share limited, essential information:

4. Data Security

We implement Reasonable Security Practices as per the Information Technology Act, 2000 and SPDI Rules, 2011:

  • End-to-end encryption for data in transit

  • Secure OTP login with no stored passwords

  • Minimal data retention policies

  • Regular app and infrastructure audits

5. Legal Compliance

This Privacy Policy is governed by:

  • The Information Technology Act, 2000

  • The Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011

  • The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (principles on data minimization, consent, and user rights)

6. Data Retention

  • Patient data (queue history, OTP logs) is retained for up to 30 days for support and analytics.

  • Doctor and clinic schedules are stored as long as the account is active.

  • Upon request or account deletion, all personal data is permanently deleted within 7 days.

7. Permissions & Device Access

The app may request access to:

  • Location (optional, to calculate ETA)

  • Notifications (to alert you about queue status)

You can disable these permissions at any time from your device settings.

8. Children’s Privacy

Time Pe is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data, please contact us for immediate deletion.

9. International Users

If you are accessing Time Pe from outside India, please note that your information may be transferred, stored, and processed in India, where our servers are located.

10. Your Rights

You can:

  • Request access to your data

  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Delete your data and close your account

  • Opt out of marketing or non-critical notifications
